Use their free accounting software if you want. DO NOT PAY THEM FOR PAYROLL SERVICES. I switched to wave payroll and accounting years ago and they keep changing things to make them worse for the customer. They decided they were going to take care of federal and state tax payments for me and charge more. No option. Okay I guess one less thing I need to do. For some reason they did not pay the state tax in October 2020. I received a letter from the state Dec 8 2020 and imediatly reached out to them. You can only communicate with online chat and email. Since my initial chat with them I have emailed and chatted asking when they will take care of this. On the last chat I suggested I just pay it and they reimburse me for the fine and interest. They didn't want to do that. Here we are 1/23/21 I receive another letter from the state stating Legal Action May have begun. There are other issues like my bank account used to sync to the accounting, but wave made a big change to their software and it no longer does nor does my capitol one card.

I've been with this company for years and they WERE great, however the bigger they get the worse they are. They eliminated their phone support, it's all via chat which is today just 24 minutes or so! I have their bank account and ATM card but have found that it doesn't work everywhere like my Chase card does, and it charged me for a 200.00 withdrawal which I didn't get.

Don't use Wave for payment processing! Its a scam! I tried to use them for one payment and I still have not gotten my money! I cant even speak to a real person on the phone about this and when I asked for a supervisor, I was told one would contact me via email! Really? You are dealing with peoples money! Get a customer service line! Never again!

I would rate this 5 stars if I could talk to a real person. I still can't get verified to accept credit cards, they denied me without explanation or what I need to do to fix this issue. There are non phone numbers or emails, just chat bots and auto responses. Again, if someone from Wave is reading this I would love to change this to 5 stars if you can help resolve my issues.
