I was afraid that like their next door competitor they’ll soon close, but to my pleasant surprise they had a lot of takeout orders during the two hours we spent there. We ourselves were humbled by the lovely couple who were busybody-ing around the restaurant and their kindness. We took the 2-for-1 lobster special cooked hong king style and with black bean sauce. Both were lovely but the Hong Kong style easily amazed us. It’s also true having lobster perhaps burns as much calorie (if not more) as one gains eating them. But its more like an experience for us eating at Wah Sing in a quiet corner of the Baldwin village.

Wah Sing is an institution in Toronto, not just a restaurant. Its run by an old couple who will warm your hearts, the lady running the front will put a smile to your face everytime and the husband at the back has some magic he works up with lobsters. The food is just simply amazing with some great, fresh and quality ingredients. I love the place and hope it never closes.
Quite pleasantly surprised to taste great lobster dishes. Ordered green onion garlic and black bean sauce lobster dishes, and my family really enjoyed them. Also ordered fried rice and fried rice noodle which portions were a little small and not too many ingredients added to them, but they were edible. Will be back for the main dish here.
Reliably great food and with recent crab special, even better! Small mistake made with my order but they fixed it right. This is definitely a go back again and again and again restaurant.
The best gem of toronto. I will always comeback here for their lobster, fried rice, well mostly everything. Highly recommend it
