it was a room provided to me from a network I was to do an interview next day. Just arrived in the city. Room was paid for. Was told my ID was not enough. 3 pieces and told me it was only possible if I paid 167 and 250 dollars deposit. So 2 hours in -10 during covid. Friend sent me the money. I was told then I still can't get it. Like am I wrong ??? Concerns to former drivers who once had a driver's license and still wishes to pursue having one however unable to get because of circumstances of cancellation on the Brinks. Getting your Ontario ID card cancels your license completely and you'd have to start from fresh. Update they did accommodate me after all after the company had to come & me into the hotel. My stay was pleasant and not disturbed. They apologized for the mix-up.

I walked in the front doors and was greeted by very friendly front desk staff. They gave me the keys to my room, and I headed upstairs. Upon entering the room, I couldn't help but admire the view from the window. It was a gorgeous sight showing the Toronto skyline looking out to the lake. The couch and chair were comfortable, and the amenities included (fridge, microwave, stove/oven, washer and dryer) were more than I would have expected from a hotel in this area. Where everything falls apart was the bed. The bed was one of, if not the worst bed I have ever slept (or at least tried to sleep) on. It was so incredibly hard that it felt like someone forgot to put a mattress on the box spring. As hard and uncomfortable as the bulk of the mattress was, the edges were even worse. They felt like solid rock around the entire frame of the mattress. While I wish I could give a great review, the bed made my stay fairly mediocre overall. This is really a shame, because everything else would have easily earned a 4 star from me. However, as the bed is the most important part of a hotel room, I can only bring myself to give 2 stars overall.
My service when i checked in was amazing. Did not get the name of the manager but he was very kind & welcomed me amazingly. After the check in there was a lot of issues. Our heater was not working so our room was cold for majority of the night. The manager working in the night & the same one we dealt with the next morning tried to accuse me and my friend of smoking cannabis when the smell wasn't even from our room. then at check out he tried to CHARGE ME for a smoking fee and i didn't notice till i got home and looked into the bill, charged me for 6 people in the hotel room when there was only 4. Horrible service after i was checked in.
Nice hotel. Staff were very nice. Suite was clean and nicely decorated. Beds very comfortable - great sleep. Price was very good. I booked through the hotel and got a discount maybe because it was for the same day and they had vacancies? Not sure but great value. Theres a little supermarket across the street. Negatives - no balcony access, no room service food and the tv was big but the resolution was bad. Overall great value for the money though
I am booking a double king suite, and came to google before submitting my visa info. The website photos are very different than the Google review photos. I want to be guaranteed that I'm paying for what is advertised on the website; the pictures I've attached here. Google review photos shows rooms that are dark with black and brown floors n couches. I will not pay for my reservation if thats what they look like.

They charged a deposit double the usual, the reservation never stated that it was higher than usual, the lady at the counter was doing everything but helping, terrible attitude and service
