We didn't end up getting to tour the birth centre in advance, but regardless had a wonderful experience there! Here are some details we learned while there! Our midwife wasn't there yet when we arrived, but someone came and helped us carry our bags in and was so sweet. We loved the room! It was cozy, dim and clean! There is parking underground too, so my husband moved the car there after I got in. Gas and air was awesome! The tub was very nice and large. The bed was big as well and comfortable, easy to adjust for my midwives as well. It was a little chilly, but once they turned on the electric fireplace near the bed, it warmed up fast! I would definitely recommend birthing here with midwives!!! We arrived at 3am, and were home by 10:30am. Even though we weren't there long, it was a beautiful experience and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to welcome our child into the world into such a beautiful, calm and safe environment!
The facilities are beautiful and supportive environment. Staff is very professional and attentive. It is a great place to give birth in. It's very relaxing, spacious and totally comfortable for moms and family.
Had a tour with my husband and other guest.... place is quite wonderful. I do plan on giving birth here in the next few weeks to come. I honestly can't wait I have been singing praises about this place. I have everything planned out for when I do deliver her... even down to the room I would prefer if its available when I go into labour..... my husband wants a natural birth and I was not for it, but over time I came around because of the benefits that will follow after... and that I really don't like hospitals.... so a bonus.... I'll be cooking when in labour to make sure myself, hubby and staff have something to eat while I dilate and after when she comes.... Staff is super nice and I just love it here.... will give birth to all my children to follow here.
So awesome. Both of my boys were born here and the facility is phenomenal.
