They charge you 1000 for one course that only lasts like a month! They have tons of botted accounts that the employees made, and gave them 5 stars. They try to be nice and make some "acting games" but in reality you will never use them as an actor; they make you seem like they are nice people, but when you look back at all of it, it all looks like they wasted your money. I have taken two courses there and if I were to say one thing that they taught me through the "acting games" it would be as blank as a cloud. They try to seem proffesional and all but they really aren't. Please don't spend your money on this place; look for trustable places where the owners aren't using alt accounts and giving 5 star reviews

I consider myself very lucky to be a part of such an awesome institution as TAAFT. I can feel my life taking a complete 180 degrees turn with the skills I have learned from such great instructors and coaches. My Director Andrej Acin and Acting coach Russell Ferrier worked very hard to train me for the auditions. My voice coach Joy jukes helped me to hone my voice skills. My acting mentor Vladimir Bondarenko helped me to tailor my acting skills, by adapting my unique qualities. It’s a blessing to be coached by them. Being in the presence of such experienced mentors made every moment with them valuable. I dedicate my first success to these helpful individuals, without them it would have been impossible. I would take this opportunity to thank Susan, the director of the academy for all the support and inspiration. - Yamini Panchakarla

This is where I started my acting journey, and the academy exceeded all expectations and not only improved my acting, but improved me as a human being. To act is to react, and to be is to feel, the more we are in tune with out own emotions, the greater we can act and be a story teller. Thank you, TAAFT.

I wrote this review a while ago but forgot to post. This was some of my first experiences in real acting training, and this school delivered a very personalized and positive experience. With a small class size your teachers really get to know you and what you need to work on. The faculty are all passionate about the craft and give very real, lived in experience that isn’t mystical or impractical. All of it can be easily applied for a diligent and serious student. Those who were passionate about the craft and the hard work that it takes to appear and live trufthfully under imaginary circumstances found a lot of success in the span of the class. That being said, it’s a school, and every student has to do their part to bring as much as they want to the table. With everything what you put in, you get out. Andrej, Russell and the rest of the faculty brought a great presence and breadth of experience to every day. Classes in voice, acting technique, audition prep were all extremely valuable to anyone looking to get their foot in the door. American students: I received a great deal coming to this school. Currency exchange rates were great and I was able to live pretty well on Canada, but just have a job lined up beforehand. All in all this was a great experience and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a jam packed intensive program.

Toronto Academy of Acting for Film and Television courses were the best training I have got in Canada. They prepared me for acting and to win the auditions. They will give you the necessary skills and initial experience through the tough training and accessing. To be an actor it's a tough craft to learn. And the courses the Academy is offering is the best way to prepare yourself to get the acting job. Recently I won the auditions for the role in Salvation (TV Series 2017)! Last week I played the role. If you want to be an actor I highly recommend attending their courses.

This is a wonderful program for anyone serious about a career in film and television. You will experience a comprehensive curriculum that will allow you to feel work ready. The instructors are industry knowledgeable and are more than willing to share their time, attention and expertise with each student individually or in a group. They take an interest in assisting in your personal growth as an actor resulting in a safe space to grow and explore what makes you unique as an individual. I have been supported after completing the program through audition suggestions and feedback.
