TLC has been amazing since my first phone call. The receptionist’s are very friendly and polite and booked me an appointment right away. My consultation was just as they said it would be. I did all my tests and all my questions were answered. I was given details and information packages about all my options and once I was satisfied I booked my surgery. On the day of surgery the doctor spoke to me before my procedure and everything went just as he said it would. I followed all the prep and after care and I healed perfectly. My eyes were so bad and now I have perfect vision. I even called a couple times with questions a few months after and my call was returned a few hours later. I had a wonderful experience and it was all thanks to the amazing staff and doctors at TLC. I would recommend this clinic to my family and friends without a second thought! Thank you TLC for making my life better!

Such an amazing thrill ride of an experience from the very beginning of my first consultation till the end of my Lasik procedure. The staff here are super well trained, and very good at what they do I must say! From the reception to the surgeons the whole team here at TLC yonge and eglinton will make sure you have all the information you need and answer any questions regarding anything eye related. The actual laser eye surgery is so seem-less and painless of a process its almost unbelievable, literally the whole procedure is maybe 4 minutes in total. The doctor who did mine was Nick Nianiaris, highly recommend him but I’m sure all the others are just as perfect. He keeps you calm during the whole thing and also assures you that literally nothing can possibly go wrong during the lasik treatment. Zelda is amazing in finding a payment plan that suites your needs, whether its monthly payments or working out a payment plan that better suites you! No pressure at all after you go in for your free consultation! Only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because on the day for my procedure, I was waiting for over 2 hours from my scheduled time, as well the light skin black girl working in the back that day wasn’t all that nice when it came to prepping all the folks waiting for their turn for surgery. She had a mild attitude and it clearly showed. I was super nervous during the long wait so I went to the washroom a few times and she didn’t seem to appreciate the fact that I kept getting up from my seat. Other than that little hiccup in an almost perfect experience I will highly recommend this place to all my friends and family who want to live a no more glasses and contact free life! I would highly recommend TLC Laser Eye Centres to anyone wanting to have corrective surgery. Especially during Covid, you feel immediately at ease when you walk in. The environment has been altered to allow for distancing and you can see that they are doing extra wipe downs of all areas in the waiting room and of all the equipment you will be using. I found all of the staff to be very kind and very cognizant that you might be feeling nervous about the upcoming procedure. Everyone was very nice from the moment I walked in, to the person who did my preliminary testing, the optometrists, the surgeons, and the consultants. I had a great experience and am enjoying my 20/20 vision.
I had my first Lasik surgery with Dr Nianiaris in January 2006 (that's right, over 13 years ago!) and then I had a redo on one eye in September 2006 to achieve monovision and I've never looked back!!! I had worn thick glasses since the age of 7 and was 39 at the time of my first surgery. My readings were close to -7 (severe myopia). I had the second surgery as my eyes regressed from 20/15 to 20/40 and they did only the one eye so I could continue to see close with monovision. I'm 54 now and I still have NEVER needed glasses for seeing distance... EVER AGAIN! I only started needing reading glasses a few years ago but only the 1.25. I do not need glasses for the computer. This surgery changed my life, my confidence and my activities. I've posted a pic from the paperwork I still have when Dr Nick was younger. If I met him again I would shake his hand heartily for his awesome work. Last note: my eye doc in Beamsville would not do his patients after-care UNLESS they went to Dr Nick. For 20 years I wore contacts when I skied, played hockey attended a show or sporting event. Last June I had Laser surgery for my vision. Im 45 yrs old and I feel like I'm 15 again. My vision is clear, accurate and normal. TLC changed my life for the better. If you're a qualified candidate DO IT !!! You'll thank yourself 48 hours later.
