I love dancing here! The studio is absolutely connected to its surrounding community of East York and there are constant opportunities to get involved (including food donation drives for local shelters). Linette is an incredible studio owner, artistic director, and dance coach - her instructions on technique are clear and she provides individual attention to each student to meet their needs. As an adult dancer I feel challenged, welcomed, and can identify my progress throughout the year. We have a great time in class. All administration is well-organized, clear, and run like clockwork. A wonderful community-based small business to support!

I started taking class here as a teen and loved it so much I signed up for multiple classes including styles of dance I had never tried before. Linette has created an incredibly positive, effective learning environment. As a student you are challenged, encouraged and part of a community. Linette is more than a great dance teacher, she is also an amazing mentor.
I spoke with lennete and she was extremely rude and disrespectful on the phone I would not recommend this place at all there are better dance places in Toronto , stay away !!!!
My kids loved her classes. Linette and her teachers make sure the kids have fun, even while working hard to learn their dance routines. Linette and her teachers are also active, professional performers, keeping their own skills sharp and fresh.
The S.P.A.C.E. is a wonderful place. It's warm, inclusive, and friendly. The dance classes maintain a very high standard and Linette is an excellent teacher. My daughter is greatly enjoying her first year of classes. Thank you so much for the fantastic Christmas show, Rudolph, it was lovely. Beyond the beautiful dancing, the script was very smart and witty, too. What a wonderful creative endeavor!
The S.P.A.C.E is a wonderful studio space that serves for a great rehearsal studio and class for youth. Linette is a sweet and caring person who loves her craft and utilizes her years of experience to teach the artists of tomorrow. I got to use the studio for rehearsals and if a 5’10 adult male and 2 other adult females can fit - children should have no issues. I felt the need to address some of the negative comments as you can see. Linette is a BLACK ENTREPRENEUR FEMALE and she should be proud of it. It’s baffling I even have to call this out as there are some who want to address her race as a negative. The S.PA.C.E should be taken at face value. It’s a boutique studio run by one women and it serves its purpose. Serving the community and providing an avenue for the future artists to learn and express themselves.
My twins had such a wonderful experience there! The SPACE came at a time where we were unsure of dance studios, because my daughter (when she younger) had a horrible experience at another establishment. From that experience, she had developed some anxiety towards instructors. She was afraid to express herself. But when she came to the SPACE, she felt accepted, loved and more confidant performing and being in front of the stage. I think that above technique, confidence and self-esteem is the most important thing. All of the techniques soon followed. I am always grateful for the positive experience we had.
I have rented the space and the owner is amazing. She is super flexible and willing to work with and support young performers. I can only imagine how caring she is as a teacher. She really cares about building a safe and friendly place for children to express themselves. Love this place!
