Had an issue with this spa 2 years ago, was very disappointed. However today I got a call from the new manager of the spa, he expressed how sorry he is for my bad experience and assured that with a him as a new manager there won't be any problems! Also received a complimentary gift box with amazing products and 1 year access to pool and gym !It is very nice to know that management is very thoughtful in accepting the criticism rationally and offers a complementary services. Very excited to give this spa a second chance and I'm sure I won't regret.

Ahhhmazing! This is my second visit but it had been a while since my first. I had a 90-min massage with Teale and she was a great RMT. I prefer deep-tissue/sports massages and she applied the right amount of pressure but yet, it was still relaxing! I followed it up with a pedicure, which was really good. It's pricier than most places but understandably it is a high-end spa. The facilities are well-maintained and very clean. The spa staff are some of the friendliest I've ever had and I've been to quite a few places. In reading the other reviews posted it looks like I need to book another trip for a facial!!
My mother and I went to The Spa at the Hazelton for massages and had a wonderful time. We felt comfortable and very safe with the precautions that they took to protect against Covid. My masseuse was friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive to my specific needs and dislikes (very ticklish feet). Would happily go back!
Truly enjoyed the experience. The staff is friendly, the space is clean. If you're looking to get a high quality massage, I highly recommend to get it with Mary M. Probably one of the best in Toronto
Really bad service! My friend booked a massage for two a week in advance and when we got there we were told we are a few hours late. We had to pay the 50% of the service which is still a lot (almost 200!) for nothing! I understand their cancelation policy but here is the deal: there is no way that my friend made a mistake while booking since we knew that we would be both busy at the time they \expected\ us. We were really looking forward for this experience all week and even came 20 minutes earlier. They claimed that they called her (once) a day before, but it is common sense that sometimes people are at work/on a plane/out of country so email is the main option. They asked us if we received an email confirmation, and when they learnt that apparently they had forgotten to ask her for one in the first place they started to argue that email is not necessary and that they only ask for it from time to time. If they asked for it while booking I am sure we could have avoided this kind of situation. Moreover, I work with customers myself and every time there is some question or issue I always make sure that my customer leaves 100% informed about everything. For a high-end spa like this with such high prices, they could have confirmed the time on the phone like 5 times to make sure that there is no misunderstanding. This spa is pretty small and does not have many amenities either, but for Yorkville area they could have focused on their customer service, which is currently in a really bad state. P.S. The review is only about the spa employees and their policies. The hotel staff were nice and helpful.
