It was a pleasure working with the agency. Very responsible and professional team, and most importantly everything was done on time. Never have any issues. Danette accepted my application quickly and explained to me all the details I should know about renting the unit. On request provided very quickly rental confirmation & receipts. Always were sending me all copies of documents by email and by mail. Also, I have a very smooth transition, thanks to the agency, when the landlord made a decision to take over the unit. I will definitely recommend using the Rental Lifestyle Group service. I am very thankful for Han for all the explanations and the great service that I have received.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GROUP!! And if you do, record your cheque numbers and be prepared to put up a fight to get any deposits back. My boyfriend got out his contract and the the company found someone to take over for the following month. A month later, they cashed his cheque (which he provided for the year) for two months after he moved out. They didn't terminate the cheques, instead they cashed his AND the new renter's cheque getting double the amount of rent. He has also been asking for his deposit back for TWO months now. And you better believe that they didn't refund him the money right away...\they're working on it\. They are crooks here. *Update: As a digital marketing manager and someone who does a lot of work in online reputation management, I understand that reviews are often the deciding factor when people are choosing to work with a business. As an update to the above situation, Rental Lifestyle Group rectified the situation and paid my boyfriend both the rent they cashed and the deposit. While they sincerely apologized (and we are very respectful and thankful of that and the quick turn around in getting the money back to us within about a day) and asked for my original review to be taken down, rectifying the situation doesn't take away from the fact that it happened. I was a little turned off by the fact that this mistake was looped in with the deposit that took a few months to get back. This situation did put us in a poor position with our new landlord as our cheque bounced and we were late for the first time ever paying our rent, we also had to pay bank fees on top of that AND a late fee to our landlord, which we never would of had to do in the first place. This was pretty stressful and upsetting for both of us. You can be assured that in my experience, their customer service has quick turnaround in urgent situations and they were very understanding of the situation which is very much appreciated.
Anastasia is one of the worst agents one could ever deal with. We told her the date we needed to move in by and she said it wouldn't be an issue. Then she proceeds to ghost us for a week - no emails, no phone calls, absolutely no updates as to whether or not our application has been processed, approved, or even denied. We practically had to chase her down for an update. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received while trying to rent a place. Would not recommend for anyone to have to go through her to find a place to live. Worst communication skills I have seen in a long time.
Working with Han, Anastasia, and the rest of the team was a pleasure. They were always easy to get ahold of and quick to respond/help when our unit had an issue. We have nothing but positive things to say after renting through the Group for over 3 years!
