Not into deep fried foods but the time I enjoyed your phish and chips, I was very pleased! I hadn't experienced that since I was a kid. You do a phenomenal job creating a vegan experience!

I made a visit to Hogtown Vegan a few weeks ago to meet up with some friends for a Saturday brunch. I was a bit skeptical at first as I never had an authentic vegan food experience, however Hogtown Vegan has changed my mindset on it. We came at around 2pm and luckily the brunch menu was still on the table. There were a lot of interesting options to choose from that you would find at your typical diner. I decided to order their Southern Combo that comprised of their Unfried Chicken (tofu actually), Mac n' Cheese, Sauteed Bacon and Garlic Collard Greens and BBQ Sauce. I got to say, it was quite tasty. It truly resembled a plate that you would find in a classic American diner. The Collard Greens were a highlight as it was seasoned beautifully with the perfect amount of caramelized garlic. The Mac n' Cheese was nice and gooey like any non-vegan version we are normally accustomed to. The service was excellent as the wait staff was polite and friendly. The interior was warm and welcoming. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and I cannot wait to be back for my next visit.

Junk vegan food located not too far from Spadina. Good options and the portions are huge! Highly recommend this place to everyone and not just vegans. Make sure you try the chicken and waffles.

I've adored this place since the original location opened on Bloor street. I've had everything on the menu and nothing disappoints! Whether it's the fries supremacy, bacon cheeseburger (one of the best bacons I've ever had), pulled pork, or unchicken and waffles, it's impossible to go wrong. They've also got a great vegan craft beer selection, including several from local breweries. The staff are incredibly friendly and the service is consistently great. This place stole my heart years ago and it still has it!

(Went before Covid) Wanted to reminisce and review this wonderful vegan restaurant. I had great service, great drinks and great food. The portions are big and the food is super tasty, I tried the mac n cheese and was super satisfied. Would definitely return!
