Heartbreak Chef is true to his name. You will definitely be thinking about coming back to order from here again. The Chicken Sandwich is HUGE, great portion. Wasn't the biggest Mac & Cheese fan, but I'm looking forward to trying the other menu items:) Good Food and Good Service.

I finally had to check out The Heartbreak Chef after seeing all the hype and I was not disappointed! Being from the true south (TEXAS), I have high expectations for "comfort food" and I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Dutty Chicken Sandwich which had a beautiful kick of spice and the Mac and Cheese. I got the combo and asked for a Diet Coke, which they didn't have and I wasn't mad at anybody for it! Go big or go home! The Mac and Cheese was quite garlicky but it was not unbearable. The sandwich was so huge that I could not finish it in one sitting and when I went to reheat it later, it was just as nice! The Chicken Dutty Combo, upgraded to Mac and Cheese, was a bit pricier than I thought it would be at 30 but it was a nice investment into a meal I will remember for quite some time! Would definitely come back again and again!
First time trying and was worth the hype! Definitely recommend and will try again. Got the dutty sandwich and wasn't disappointed one bit. It's very heavy but manageable. Also spicy. And most importantly. Very tasty.
Hands down the best spot for comfort food! Portions were huge, everything is made to order, and the food was absolutely delicious. Can’t say I’ve had a better fried chicken sandwich!! The secret menu from Instagram is a Mac and cheese infused waffle with fried chicken - this is a must order.
WOW!! I ate the food about 30 minutes after I got it, and the fried chicken was super crispy, the buffalo butter sauce was delicious. Now this is hands down one of the best mac and cheeses that I've ever had, so rich and heavy, definitely worth it at 15 all-in. More real cheese in here than anywhere else I've gotten in the city. If you're wondering whether or not you should go here, ITS A YES!
The Dutty Sandwich is a top tier Chicken sandwich in the city of Toronto. I was really impressed with how the sandwich didn't fall apart while I was eating. Each bite was crispy but equally easy to bite off. The chicken was perfectly cooked and thicc, the bun was legit, the toppings were fresh, the sauce was full of flavor. My biggest regret was having not split my last bite into two smaller pieces. Highly recommended
