Excellent shop carrying hard-to-find Japanese furniture. Stanley tries his utmost to ensure a customer is happy and satisfied. I purchased a zaisu here and have ultimately been pleased with my decision. Recommended.

Excellent service, incredibly helpful and polite. The Shikibuton I purchased is amazing quality and has done wonders for my sleep. Can't recommend highly enough!

Stanley is an absolutely stellar guy who makes you feel very welcomed in his shop - he knows what he's talking about, he doesn't try to upsell you anything, and he offers a very quality product to boot. Don't go with knockoff tatami mats - they may cost less, but they're made with chemicals and won't last. With Stanley, you absolutely get what you pay for, and the tatami mats he offers are the real deal that will last a lifetime if treated right.

I ordered a shikibuton, and the experience was great. It shipped quickly and in perfect condition. I've been sleeping on it for the past 2 months, and I wouldn't go back to a regular mattress. I would definitely shop here again for their other products!

Stanley is very knowledgeable and has curated a small but great collection of authentic and high quality Japanese wares. Thanks Stanley.

My partner and I are so glad to have purchased an authentic Japanese futon/shikibuton and tatami mats here. Being new to these products (learned of it online, never visited Japan), Stanley was very friendly and great at explaining all there was to it and more. The traditional tatami style showroom/store was an amazing experience as well. Thanks for everything - we look forward to decades of improved posture and living closer to the ground!

I loved the feel of the store, and was able to make new friend, as I invested in the vision of minimalism. My back loves the Shikibuton, and I feel more down to earth, in more ways than one Thank you for being here ️
