Hiding in plain site are the best Latin American slash global baked goods I have had in the neighborhood. His croissants are perfect. As is his coffee. If you have a chance drop in.. you won't regret it.. seems a independent guy trying his best to show his culinary talent.. and if you try things on his menu .. you can taste it!

I'm a huge fan and supporter of Tapioca Toronto and I'm very happy that they finally have a storefront! We used to wait all winter long to have our tapioca crepes, cheese buns and brownies at the Farmers Market season and now we can access delicious food all year long! Tapioca crepes are my fave, but the tamales....oh my God! Soo good! You can take them home frozen and buy the toppings separated and make it at home anytime! PRO TIP: TRY THEIR HOT SAUCE!!!
Great bagels and coffee.. excellent quality. I definitely will come back.
Decided to try this local kitchen as I saw their sign advertising char fish bagels so I thought I'd give it a try which came with avocado and fresh greens, also tried the mushroom and fresh greens bagel (split halves) and they were both amazing! Definitely will frequent this place , very fresh ingredients and friendly owner. Support Local Business!!
This is where Defloured bakery used to be before their recent relocation (September 2020). It's nice to see the space being occupied by a new gluten-free, vegan friendly eatery! I had Brazilian cheese puffs (Pão de Queijo, 4 for 5 dollars) and a sweet tapioca crepe (8 dollars). The puffs were nothing special, but 4 stars for the amazing sweet tapioca crepe! You get to choose one jam filling (Ontario peach, white blueberry and strawberry) and pecans are default but can be omitted for the sweet crepe The service was okay if not a little distracted. The owner Rafael told me it would take 7-8 mins for the crepe but it ended up being around 15 mins because he was so busy chatting with his friends lol I will be back for the excellent crepe!
Thank you for bringing these cheese buns into my life. This is my favourite place in Toronto. I could eat the cheese buns and tapioca crepes every day!! I think I need to try the brownies next!
The cheese buns...... my goodness
A Brazilian bakery serving up the best Pão de Queijo - cheese buns - in the entire city. Super friendly owner and baker - we'll be coming back often for some fresh ones with our coffee, and frozen ones for the freezer.
