Walking into the shop you're hit with the sweet smell of freshly made waffles. It's warm and cozy with plenty of spots with good lighting and backdrops. I got the vanilla mango ice cream, the women making the cones was impressive in how she made perfect swirls on top of each one she made. As for the ice cream it's self, the mango portion was sweet yet tart and was well balanced with the vanilla. I'm not much of a fan of vanilla ice cream but this shop really does it well.

I got the classic (vanilla ice cream with Oreo crumbles) while my wife got the green tea and hojicha. The ice cream was good and the cone tasted very fresh. As I thought it would as the girl working there was constantly making them. We'll definitely have to come back and try the other flavors

Awesome Japanese ice green here in Toronto. It was big but seemed to melt a bit fast so make sure you can lick it quickly! Lots of great flavours to try and also a great place to hang out and enjoy the decorations. Glad to see that this type of place exists right here! My kids brought me here and they love going and tasting the delicious soft ice cream. Check it out!

I liked their ice cream. The fish cone is also fresh and crispy. I give it 5 stars. However, their Taiyaki with custard was far away from the actual taiyaki I tried in Japan. It was not crispy at all and tasted uncooked inside. It would not get more than 2 stars in my opinion.

At 10, I definitely thought this wouldn't be worth it's price but then I took a bite and it changed my mind. You're definitely not just paying for the aesthetic, it's good ice cream. Will definitely get again and I highly recommend it.

Past by this place and knew we had to try it. To start the review the food is OK it wasn't bad but it was nothing spectacular. This is definitely a more to satisfy your Instagram feed than a dessert craving. The signature ice cream in the fish shaped cone was OK not the best ice cream but you can't go wrong with icem cream I felt that the taro slush was overtly sweet but that is my personal preference for those who have a sweet tooth might enjoy it. What really is amazing about this place is the staff. Customer Service done right 5/5 I really wish that all restaurants had this kind of staff, they were all friendly, personable, and looked like they enjoyed talking to customers.

Really good quick service! We came in when there were at least 4 people before us and we got out food right away. Absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and cute, very fitting. Taiyaki NYC was my first experience with Taiyaki and it did not disappoint. The red bean paste filling wasnt too sweet and complemented the dessert very well! I would definitely recommend stopping by this location if you're touring Toronto.

Really glad we came here on a rainy day as we didn't have to wait long for the line. I ordered the matcha hojicha ice cream (straight out of Japan) taiyaki and you can change the filling to custard instead of red bean. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the hojicha ice cream tasted although I couldn't really taste the custard filling. Will definitely be back to try other flavours. The taiyaki costs 9 after tax.
