Really good sushi and sushi rolls ... The fish felt fresh and sushi was well crafted. One of the best sushi places in Toronto. A hidden gem.

Best sushi in the area. Excellent quality and price. Great chef. Friendly and smart. Miss it when not in Toronto

Given the good reviews we went by at 9pm to grab some take out. Friendly Japanese staff was helping us. I usually am keen on giving good reviews. This place had 3 star food. But given my bill of like 25-30 and the SUPER tiny hosomakis, some of which has nothing in them, that were not particularly good... It is hard. My friend ordered a house salad for 5. He got about 50 grams of lettuce and 2 thin slices of bell pepper. His California roll was also a 2.5-3 / 5. Price wise, it is far from a good deal. Food is ok. Fish is quite fresh. Portions are very small. Presentation is non-existent. We were quite disappointed. The miso soup was decent but not redeeming. Food 3/5 Portion Size 1/5 Service 4/5 Price point: Expensive Verdict: better places are quite common. It was cute, tiny and authentic but failed to deliver. Nice staff. Ok food. Bad price/quantity-quality.

The best sushi in the area. Infinitely better and more authentic than anything in Liberty Village. Always a wide variety of fish you don't find at normal run-of-the-mill places. Here it pays to be adventurous. Go for the octopus or sea urchin or eel. Friendly actual Japanese owners/chef.

Great little place! Everything is made to order so it's fresh and delicious! Sometimes it's a little bit of a wait, but it's well worth it. I suffer from an autoimmune disease so gluten is right out. They understood what I meant and kept it clean and fresh. I used to live around the corner and this became a regular spot for me. Just fabulous!

EDIT: Have been here a few times now. Bit on the pricey side, but the sushi was delicious every single time. NOTE: they’re closed Sundays. ******************************************* Seems like a takeout kind of place. Only tried it once so far, but sushi was delicious & ready when they said it would be.

One of the few real sushi places in Toronto that is reasonably priced. Food is fantastic and the owner and sushi chef is great to deal with. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my lunch from there today but can understand why people call it pricey. The "lunch deals" didn't make as much sense as just picking rolls off the menu but I have to say the fish was good quality, and the nice touches like the soy sauce dish and the good quality chop sticks were a perk too. I've had super cheap sushi before and honestly I'd rather pay a tiny bit more than waste money on a sub-par product. They were also really fast making my order and very friendly!
