Extremely awful experience. I was taken there by paramedics for suspected pregnancy loss. My pain was excruciating. I waited for almost 3 hours. .They had no rush to save the fetus, or atleast check if it’s alive. Fast response makes a lot of difference. I was exhausted. Physically and emotionally. And I decided to leave without being treated. Left it on fate. I lived in others countries, but Canada has by far the worst emergency treatment. After paying taxes regularly, this is how we get treated. Pathetic. The triage nurse was rude and apathetic. I hope no other mother goes through such experience.

Went in at 8am because my father lost a significant amount of vision in his eye within the past week. They took a lot of precaution for COVID which I was pleased about and implemented appropriate social distancing measures. A triage nurse helped us within 10 minutes, read our Optometrist’s referral note, contacted the Ophthalmology unit and secured an appointment at the eye clinic in the afternoon. Registration was another 15-20 minute wait. Overall we were in and out within the hour! Very pleased with how they treated us during this stressful time.

It has been more than 6 hours waiting just to see the doctor. The staff is friendly and look professional but the waiting time is too much for an ER supposed too deal with urgent cases

I waited for 6 hours and did not get to see a doctor. No one talks to you or tells you how long it’s going to take. The nurses ignore your questions and provide no clear answers. They had maybe 1 doctor and 6-7 patients waiting all night. No one got to see a doctor for the 6 hours that I was there. they take you from waiting room to waiting room. They ran out of rooms at one point cause no one was being discharged. Worst experience. Avoid this place at all costs.
