This glove is designed for people with Parkinson's or essential tremor rather than people like me with ataxia. Since I do not have Parkinson's or essential tremor the glove was not as effective for me As it might have been if I had Parkinson's or essential tremor. \bIt was helpful nonetheless although it is not a perfect fix for the tremors in my case.. The glove is sturdy and well-made and the customer support is superb. I give the glove four stars and the Customer service gets five stars only because I can't award more. I have totally recommend this product.

I greatly anticipated the date that my Steadi-One would ship to me, and then was excited to finally try it. I wondered whether I would see a marked improvement in my tremors, and was fully anticipating everything I had hoped for. I was eager to finally try the glove on. I had prepared myself thoroughly. I had watched the videos and pored over the website in the weeks before it was delivered. I spoke of it often with my friends, family, and coworkers. I only experienced maybe a slight improvement on drawing straight lines with the glove on, but I also found I wasn’t pressing down with the pen on the paper nearly as hard when I had the glove on - I press harder with the glove off in order to help steady my hand. I noticed a slight improvement in steadying my hand when holding a utensil while eating. I also experimented with adjusting the glove to learn how to fit it best to my forearm, wrist, hand, and thumb. I had the best results by sliding the glove slightly forward on my hand so the thumb hole wasn’t as tight against my hand at the base of my thumb. I can easily recognize the extent of engineering and design that Steadiwear has integrated into the Steadi-One glove. I had very high hopes and confidence that my experience would be life-changing, and I have no doubt that my own experience is far less than many others’. I truly believe many have been, and many more will be, very satisfied with their own experiences in the reduction of tremors and improvement in everyday tasks in their daily life when using the Steadi-One glove. Nobody was more regretful than me, in having had to request to return my Steadi-One glove for a full refund. Of course I had all the original packaging, the pouch, and instruction booklet in new condition, and the glove showed no signs of soiling or wear. Steadiwear has excellent customer service and support. I highly recommend you try their product if you are experiencing moderately high, to high levels of tremors.

I recently purchased the Steadiwear glove to help with my essential tremors, a family problem I, like so many, have inherited. One of the most aggravating things about my shaky hands was that it interfered with my ability to use my bow to play a stringed instrument called a psaltery. With the glove on, I am now able to hold and play notes smoothly with out shaking or trembling. It has allowed me to enjoy playing music again. I also am able once more to write legibly, as well as to eat soup without bracing my hand with the other hand. The only problem I find is that the glove is a bit heavy so 45 minutes is about as long as I can wear it at a stretch. However, that is far better than what I was dealing with before. I am delighted to discover this solution to my essential tremor problem and recommend it to others. If the glove does not suit you, you can return it. There is little risk in giving it a try.

I purchased a Steadiwear glove for my husband who has both essential tremors and Parkinson’s tremors at a pretty severe level. The company, has been so helpful to work with, especially Emile. I had ordered a medium, but then realized a large would be a better fit. They stepped up and sent a new glove right away. It did help. For my husband, there was improvement with the glove, especially when eating. Unfortunately he has now developed extreme whole body tremors. The whole body tremors have cancelled out any relief that the glove provided. We have had to return the glove and the company could not have been nicer and wonderful to deal with. I encourage anyone with tremors to try it out. If my husband had just had hand/arm tremors and not the severe body tremors it would have been a huge success. Thank you, Emile and the rest of the Steadiwear company for all you do to help those that are suffering from both of these horrible diseases.

I took advantage of Steadiwear's 30-day money-back guarantee and purchased a Steady-One glove, hoping it would significantly dampen the essential tremor in my left hand. The glove was somewhat helpful, but I didn't experience enough of an improvement to warrant keeping it. The Steadiwear people were polite and understanding of my situation, and they honored their money-back guarantee by issuing a full refund after I returned the glove.

Steadiwear provides great and prompt customer service. I had pre-ordered a glove, changed medication, experienced a marked reduction in my tremor and decided to cancel the glove. I did not purchase their product. I did preorder two gloves. In the time spent waiting for their production I had DBS surgery on my right side. My surgical team cautioned me not to go ahead with the purchase because of a lack of data supporting the use of the glove with an implant. I relayed that information to Steadiwear. They could not have been nicer. I received a full refund.
