So far, the best Emergency Department I've visited in Ontario. Everyone was very kind and respectful, from the receptionist to nurses and a doctor. Toronto is a highly populated city, so, I assume waiting for a couple of hours is regular. I was treated within 3.5hrs, with test results being ready. In at least 3 other hospitals in the GTA, it took me way longer to receive help even though the severity of my cases was higher, not mentioning the rudeness of staff. So, my review is based on the comparison. There's always a place for improvement.

I had to take my son to the Emergency Department last night with an injury, and the staff was great. They had a good process which we moved through very quickly and he was attended to much quicker than I had expected. The Resident Doctor and the Doctor treating my son were fantastic. The Resident Doctor was very thoughtful and thorough, explaining options and process for treatment. We felt well cared for, and were back home in under 2 hours. I was scared to go with COVID cases these days, but it ended up being the best option and experience.
made my mom wait 4 hours for blood results and then basically told her to go home at 4am in the morning when she checked in there at 8:30 and didn’t get pain meds for her excruciating pain until 12am. i wish i could give 0/5 stars this place is honestly the worst
Way too over crowded. Old people on beds everywhere. Walls are dirty and have chips/markings on them. waited 2 hours in pain with a dislocated knee. The bedsheets had many stains on them. Overall the hospital is really bad.
The doctor was decent. The nurses were horrible. I spent 6 hours there when it wasn’t busy. They also forgot about me because of a staffing change. The IV was excruciatingly painful and my blood back flew to the tube. To add to it I was told I’d be given a medication that never came until 15 mins before I got discharged when I reminded them.
