Love the Mayan hot chocolate. It's got just the right kick to it, spicy yet delicious! In the summer, I love the variety in the gelato and ice cream options. The staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. One of my favorite chocolate places in the world and I've tried many! Love this place!

Came on a cold winter afternoon, the hot chocolate was divine. They could probably do with an update to their interior seating. With their volume I feel they could use their space a little better. Service was great, they were helpful in their recommendations, and polite.

Really nice chocolate shop, their hot chocolate is perfect! Lovely location in the distillery district too

Best spot in Downtown Toronto for hot chocolate. We tried their regular hot chocolate as well as the Mayan hot chocolate (with milk). Both were too good. The spicy hot chocolate was soothing for a cold winter eve.

This place is an absolute delight. I stumbled upon their King West location in 2014 and I've been going to both locations (King West and Distillery) since then. They serve two flavours of hot chocolate (classic or spicy Mayan). You can either have them as a shot or dilute them with water or milk. I've tried the shot and although the first sip was great, it was a bit too intense for my liking. I like my hot chocolate with half milk, half water. They offer a great selection of gelatos in the summer and fall. My favourites are Sicilian pistachio, roasted almond and roasted hazelnut. The Sicilian pistachio is almost always sold out (for scoops) but you can always buy a tub. Try the blueberry basil sorbet if you're looking for a fresh flavour. Their coconut sorbet is so creamy and makes for a dairy free alternative to gelato. In terms of chocolate, my wife and I's favourite is the Old School Milk chocolate bar which is a milk chocolate bar made in the old fashioned way. It has a great texture and flavour. Their other chocolate bars are like a whirlwind taste tour of the world. They even have a 100% chocolate bar if you're feeling adventurous. They also have great gift baskets which you can customize.
