I've been to the College Street staple many times in the past and each time I've lost myself in the amazing selection of books and other material that they have! Time flies right by! I love searching each shelf not only for my favourite author but also for anything else that may interest me or catch my eye. The staff is always attentive and helpful and the College Street location is situated in the perfect spot. I love to make it part of my leisurely day routine and part of my visits to Kensington Market. I highly recommend this location! Support small business!

I am a regular at every used bookstore in Toronto, and She Said Boom! is a favourite. It is the kind of bookstore that it is always well-stocked. You will find the hot new novels and essays as much as the classics. It also features a lot of diverse authors: I went looking for sub-Saharan African literature and it had all the titles I was looking for, as opposed to other bookstores that are more Euro- and Western-centric. The academic sections are also very rich. Through my PhD I have bought a lot of very good titles there. On top of it, the staff is very nice and they always play cool music. Best place to browse and make great finds!
My favourite used bookstore. The selection is fantastic and the prices are reasonable.
Inexplicable hostility and coldness from woman at cash. I don't need to spend 19.95 on used product to be emotionally manipulated and mistreated. We don't know each other. I don't have the FOGGIEST clue what your issue could be. Stuff it. Hide somewhere. Give your garbage to someone who will take it. I won't.
I came by last week to check out the comics. Very happy with the selection. Had a nice conversation with the man stocking that area. Stopped in once more, a few days later. And honestly I'll be back again, sooner than later. Cheers.
One of the best curated book collections in the city.
Cool place with a wide selection of used books, fiction and otherwise. Found a few rare ones, too. Worth checking in from time to time.
