Great sailing school at unbeatable prices. No membership fees. Took the CanSail1 course with them last year and since then I've been able to do the 3-hour Pay-As-You-Sail sessions. They just cost 30 per session, which I think is amazing. My partner and I would just show up, rig the boat, then we're out on the water on our own and enjoying the view of Toronto. Great beginner friendly location. Boats are kept in good condition. Staff are super friendly. Been recommending to all my friends.

I know the owner Tom Winskel. I've sailed, and raced boats with him. I've also watched him teach. He's brilliant at both!
We did a sailing course this summer with Sailing Fanatics, and it was honestly one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences I have had in Canada. Sailing fanatics is amazing! We had never sailed previously and we felt totally at ease, and gained confidence as the course progressed. The instructors (Tom and Brianna) were so nice, knowledgable, and encouraging. Was referred by a close friend Anderson who is the member of this club. Without experience I took the first sailing class “Try Sailing”, lots of fun and enjoyed the best time there. Tom and Brianna are very knowledgeable and patience couching students. Will definitely come back for next sailing course or other activities.
We took both Cansail 1 & 2 with Sailing Fanatics - and it was an amazing experience. We didn't know a thing about sailing (most of the individuals who attended knew very little about sailing) but the SF Team taught us all of the basics through interactive and engaging on-land and on-water training. The sessions were easy and non-intimidating, and there was great collaboration among the students. SF kicked off a passion for sailing for us and we went on to purchase our first sailboat - we just finished our first year sailing on our own. A huge thank you to Tom and the team at SF for being the kick-start of this awesome journey for us!
