The staff are very friendly and my appointment was extremely quick. I didn't have to wait at all! The only downside is that it's a little out of the way of anything else so we had to walk to get to the bus stop and to get to the shops we went to afterward. On the plus side it had us find a Dollarama and an Aboveground art supply store so that made it worth the walk in my opinion. That said I'm in a wheelchair, so I didn't have to actually /do/ any of the walking.

I was surprised when entered the room for my heart ultrasound to discover that the technician was a male; the one-size-fits-all tissue vest provided no modesty whatsoever. The technician placed an additional tissue vest over me when I laid down. The technician conducted the exam in a manner that included a lot of physical contact: my back was against his belly, the entire side of his body, armpit and arm were in firm contact my body; he was using my body to support the arm he was ultrasounding with. I do not recall this amount of physical contact during my previous heart ultrasound. I would have preferred a conventional cloth gown, a female technician and/or awareness and protocols to minimise intimate contact. I was very pleased with the rest of my care at the clinic.
