Went to the Blue Heron section for their Thursday open mic night and it was the most inspirational and spectacular thing I've been involved in for a long, long time. I would have stayed past my set but, honestly, I was way too intimidated. The venue is BYOB so you can bring in alcohol not priced to absolutely assault your wallet. If you're so inclined, come watch and/or perform on the 3rd Tuesday of each month 8 - 11 p.m. for a 10 minute set. Wonderful performers.
