I have not had a Bad experience with this company until recently I was all ready to give a Stellar review. For the first time I am appalled with the actions of the mangers at Brookbanks building. Currently there are over 3 apartments available for rent. My friends have applied Monday was confirmed yes they have the apartment. We went in all the information. They claimed they were worried the rent couldn’t be covered. They have 3 sources of income. Making well over enough to cover. Their application was deined after it was confirmed they got the place. For the first time I never wanted to put race as an issue in this regards but it seems that is exactly what is happening. The building is being gentrified. I have met 2 people who have recently moved in and they are white, mangers are white too. My friends being Muslim and are being denied the right to a fair application process. I am disgusted with the management team at this office. We should not be denied the right to housing based off race especially in times of these. My friends are basically homeless living in an Airbnb that is charging them way more that the rent for the apartment they are going for. I am so upset. When I move from here I will be glad. They don’t deserve ur dollars absolutely upset.

I've been living in the same unit in a building in North York for the past 15 years. Recently there is a new neighbour upstairs from me and there is constant noise that shakes and vibrates the walls to the point that it wakes me up and gives me headaches. Went to the supers then the district manager and there is nothing being done. The supers don't believe the noise is that bad. However, when we call them into our unit they stay to hear it for maybe a couple of minutes and leave, while we have to listen to it for like 10 hours a day sometimes. I've tried to talk to the tenant but the tenant is denying the noise is her apartment even when you can clearly hear/see its coming from her apartment. I also would like to add in my building whenever a tenant moves out management will do construction and upgrade the unit-even during lockdown. Once they are done they will raise the rent a lot. One thing I don't stand is why do this during lockdown? No one wants to listen to a drill for hours. They upgraded a unit last year and made the rent a lot and the unit is still available. Most buildings in this area have the rent to be 200-300 less than what this building has it.

No heat in 1/3 of my residence no ventilation in bathroom and a hose way to long to be by law approved. appliances that dont work head office never responds and said i owed money for rent in march, …. paid it in April yeah late but paid then get served a eviction notice in November... for owing for march which was paid they wont even take the 175 filing fee off my account.... even though I have a court order that tells me not to pay the fee. This company is a joke I almost want to move so instead of LTB i can goto small claims and get more money for the trauma they have caused me... Having maintenance scream in my face then park on my front lawn was the last straw for me. Super is bipolar one day nice next day like a woman from a horror story. Get this high class lawyer to scream and belittle someone with a stress disorder so bad they end up in a hospital for two weeks. This is just the beginning.

What a joke! Started an application at 190 Clark Boulevard, to then receive an email stating they can only accommodate 1 vehicle. Mind you, this is a 3-bedroom unit, with 2 working adults. I called the office to confirm that the lack of parking was correct — and it sure was. I was informed that the first parking is 100 per month, while the second parking, in the event that you are fortunate to get one (waiting list), would be an additional 200 per month. Highway robbery! It’ll be interesting to see if they rent the units listed, because they have quite a few. Shame on this Management company!!!
