Kani ankaki is my favourite: crab in thick egg soup. The soup is always super hot so be careful not to burn yourself. I do it anyways cause it’s so delicious. Pricey but it’s filling and worth it. The best on a cold winter day or when you’re feeling under the weather.

The broth was perfect. The udon was perfect. The beef were good cuts. My only issue was the serving size. It could have been a touch larger for the price. But otherwise, will order again.

Good dining experience, nice minimal vibe. We went when indoor dining was permitted still, tables were properly distanced. Our food came out fast and the service was good. Would recommend!

My girlfriend and I went to Raku for lunch on Friday (Sept 11) and the experience was disappointing. Our friend recommended this udon place, so we decided to give it a go. However, the overall service was terrible. I would ask the waitress about the menu and she would constantly give me dirty look, just seemed cold overall (which is understandable, everyone has their bad days). It was not complicated nor \annoying\ question. It was our first time, so I just asked what do people usually get. When we received our food, she did not say anything, just put the plates on the table and walked away (?). Then afterwards, we ended up finding hair in our udon, which we pointed out to her. This is understandable, everyone makes mistake. However, her reaction was like, \so what?\ and then she grabbed my plate and said okay, and walked away. I think this could've been handles little better. If she just said, sorry at least we would've been fine. We usually never have complaints with the restaurants, we understand everyone has their bad days or make mistake. However, I think this day the waitress crossed the line little bit. However, the crab udon and deep fried tofu was really good overall!

I came across this place because I love the store front (the simplicity design) I had a quick lunch. Ordered the fried chicken, it wasn't the best I've had, it was okay. I also had a crab udon and short beef ribs udon. I must say the udon that is shipped from Japan taste very yummy and chewy. Noodles tasted very yummy, other than that... nothing special.
