This review is directed towards the dental services in particular- The receptionist is very disorganized and in my experience unreachable over the phone 80% of the time even during their listed hours. She will cancel and reschedule your appointments at a whim with no regard for your schedule and will forgot reminder calls. Why there are no email confirmations in 2018 is a mystery to me. In regards to the actual dental work Dr. Sheer will do your needed work just fine but he's stand offish and shows little empathy or kindness towards patients. As a clinic mainly designated towards low income individuals I thought the prices would reflect that but they will gouge you just as much as any other clinic. If you're looking for a more welcoming, organized, and kinder dental clinic there are alternatives in spades.

I have been a client along with my children for 20 years. The reception has hit a new low with screwing up appointments through making assumptions, not listening, and being careless. The recent SNAFU affected three appointments during a crisis with my child. I gave up on the dental services a long time ago after being double billed and there being no resolution.

The clinic supports marginalized and low income families with great care and empathy. The doctors are knowledgeable and patient. Counselling and therapy are available from skilled and understanding practitioners. The staff are skilled at de-escalating conflicts. The programs run at the centre serve diverse communities and the centre is a beautiful venue for community gatherings. This is a place where healing of the body and of society are equally valued by the organizers and participants.
