Came as a student, got my study permit within 15 minutes after landing. All people here are very helpful and friendly we can say. In this pandemic, Ontario government is providing COVID 19 testing without any cost. Cleanness and hygiene properly maintained everywhere.

Staff were friendly...had to go to covid 19 hotel jail...too many people asking for passport etc and they weren't official law enforcement...weird...no security...I walked to my hotel??? However, Alt Hotel heated up a meal for me as I was a late arrival and purchased a couple of beers!

Toronto Pearson is one of modern airports in the region. It is very clean and also well laid out.The check in areas have a lot of rooms and also a lot of check in machines. There are plenty washrooms for both gender. There are duty free shops after the immigration counter where you can shop a whole lot of things. Plenty of restaurants and fast food outlets which serve a variety of dishes.

The airport's domestic arrivals was very clean and for the most part Covid friendly. Of course you cannot control the individual people to be considerate but the airport has done what they can. Only complaint would directed to whatever baggage handling company handled the unloading of AC106 on Feb 14th 2021. It isn't exactly acceptable to \misplace\ an entire container of luggage... the containers aren't exactly small. Unfortunately I don't know what company they have contracted in Toronto so I cannot leave a direct review.
