Monument to Multiculturalism was designed and produced by Italian sculptor, Francesco Perilli, and donated by the Italian community in 1985 to celebrate Toronto’s sesquicentennial. It's a stunning piece right in front of Union Station.

Beautiful statue, truly representative of Toronto! A man uniting two meridians, while doves (which represent peace) are also bringing more meridians here, to Toronto. Toronto is one of the most multicultural and diverse places in the world, with people from almost all the countries in the world, and with over half of the city's population having been born outside of Canada! This is a great statue to meet people as they emerge out of Union Station.

Good location.

Difficult to admired with construction covers around and restaurants or cafes. Better view from across the street.
