THEY ANSWER THE PHONE VERY RUDELY AND UNCARING. They don't even pretend to care about your issues. They will take your claim, so you should call but they need public relations training. They act as if you ARE THE ONE doing something wrong (YOU are NOT doing anything wrong and you are entitled to call). They DON'T EVEN GIVE YOU A CASE NUMBER UNLESS YOU SPECIFICALLY ASK. They ARE NOT good with FOLLOWING UP. THEY CARE SO LITTLE ABOUT HELPING YOU THAT THEY ARE QUICK TO RUSH YOU OFF THE PHONE AND GIVE YOU FALSE NUMBERS TO CALL. They gave me the real company name so I googled the right number and got help. YOU NEED TO KEEP CALLING TO FOLLOW UP!! Despite their poor attitude towards you, they are required to do something to help you. WHEN I find the number to report their bad behaviour when answering these calls I will edit this with the number to help you guys. I hope they take you seriously the first time you call but keep following up with the issue. If multiple people from the same company experience the same issue they are forced to see what the truth is and they may step in and properly help. There are normally other numbers to call in addition to calling this number. Maybe try to google or call 311 (information) to help.

Employment Standards Officers are not trained lawyers. They are underqulified and overpaid. Unionized public servants can work to rule, showing favortism to horrible coporation, with no repercussion.

I love how my work place has 8 confirmed cases of COVID and the MOL decided the employer didnt need to do anything...our building is tiny and social distancing is not possible most the time.

LOOOOOL at all the people complaining about MOL not doing anything for them. First off... Read the laws. There are a lot of cases were MOL doesn't apply if a company is under a certain # of employees. Companies/ Small contractors will use this trick to do whatever they want with the staff at their disposal. Lot of people need to wake up and realize systems aren't set up for regular people, they are created to benefit the guys making money on top. Life's not fair, get over it and learn it sooner than later, you'll be better off.

Mr. MATTHEW R. WILSON at the OLRB solely conducts hearings and decision reports that are based on his transcripts that he solely transcribes (unlike traditional courts). His transcripts are not disclosed so he freely and selectively adds/withholds info in the decision report to favor a party of his preference. (This baffles us as to how he uses the law to back up an allegation without properly looking into whether or not the allegation in it and of itself has any merit) He doesn't properly look into evidence making our tribunal look like kangaroo courts. Some of his decision reports are quite the imagination a mere bias opinion that holds no merit. We all know what happens to people that take advantage of their authoritative position. He's forgotten how he got here... If Mr.Wilson has issues he needs to seek help
