Mina is a miracle worker. I had a very complicated vintage wool-blend trench coat that was 2 sizes too large, with two gun flaps and a back yoke. She transformed it beautifully from a size medium to extra-small and tailored it perfect to my body. I also felt very safe in her studio as she wore a mask and she had a little area off to the side with a mirror and screen. Thank you so much Mina, you did a fantastic job - I'll be back soon!
Mina is one of the most talented tailors I have ever come across between Boston, New York, London, and of course Toronto. Her work is impeccable and quick, and frankly she doesn’t charge enough for the work that most tailors either would turn down or botch. She is also so committed to excellence and customer satisfaction that she performs re-alterations if the clothes don't fit right and does fittings if she is altering a more complex garment. I couldn’t recommend this tailor enough, especially for petite women (for reference I am 5’4” and could easily shop at the children’s department if needed) and for those who want high-end, designer clothes & fabrics altered. Mina also has a background in fashion design and knows how to make clothes from scratch. While she doesn’t market this service, this competence is a testament to her impressive skill as a tailor. She also often makes very fashionable suggestions for changing a garment’s style in a way that will better flatter both you and the garment’s fabric and cut. Lastly, she is not only very professional, but also has a great, easy-going personality, and is clearly passionate about clothes and her work. Wish I could give her 10 stars.
