I want to thank Metro Mini Bins for all the help. Great service dropped my bin off on time and picked it up with no problems. I would recommend Metro Mini Bins to my friends and family.
A horrible experience. A friend referred me saying that they were very cheap if you pay cash. The owner Joe was very rude and disrespectful to my wife on the phone. First he told us that it would not cost over 400 if I pay cash. When they came to pick up the bin the driver was very rude to my wife, so we told them we would pay by visa, and they got upset - they did not appear very trustworthy and we wanted a receipt. Next week we noticed our credit card was debited 753 for additional weight? We cleaned out our basement – there was nothing heavy. I eventually got my brother who is a lawyer involved and I got my 353 back. I will never use or recommend these guys.
We rented a mixed bin for renovation waste from these folks as they were near our home. We agreed to a flat fee for pickup/delivery, a per ton charge, and a week's rental. We told them clearly what we had to throw out and were not told of any weight or other restrictions. When they came to pick up, it took several phone calls to remind them to come, and they were extremely rude - seemed like they were doing us a favour instead of us paying them for a service. They did not take the bin as apparently it was too heavy for their truck. They didn't tell us when they returned and moved the bin when we were not home, and broke our garden wall, dragged dirt all over and left more trash. They didn't notify us they had damaged our property, didn't recompense us for the damage, didn't provide an invoice and over-charged for the haul. Worst expensive service.
Never in my life have i experienced service this terrible. When i first contacted this company on Monday August 21st and requested a 4 yard bin for dirt for wednesday August 23rd for the am they assured me that it was no problem the bin would be at the house we were working on between 7 and 8 am. When i called Wednesday morning to confirm the delivery of the bin they explained to me there was issues with one of their trucka and that they were running behind. Which is fine and i understood as stuff does happen. They assured me the bin would at the location between 10am and 11am. 11am came around and no bin yet. I called them back and very rudly on the phone the owner who i believe is name is Joe explained to me i had to be patient as we weren't their only customer for the day. I explained to him that i had guys on site since 7am waiting for this bin and i have been more than patient. He didnt apologize or anything and explained they needed till 1pm. Frustrated i said ok and hung up 1 o'clock came around and still no bin frustrated i called them back and he explained they wouldnt be able to get me a bin that day that i would have to reschedule for saturday and guaranteed me that it would be at that site for 7am saturday morning. After a wasted day there was not much else i could do so i agreed. Today as i am writing this the bin did not show up at 7am no phone call to Let us know they were delayed the very rude drivers showed up at 10.30 am we informed the driver that we would be done with the bin in an hour as it could not stay on the street for longer than an hour and he assured me he would be back in an hour to grab it almost hours laterand numerous phone calls they have still not picked up their bin and keep stringing us along as we keep calling. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER AND EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE. Will be taking my business elsewhere to twinsbins disposal as should everyone else that needs a bin.
