The Jewish Urban Meeting Place is a non profit, non denominational organization which officially opened its doors in October, 2007. A social network and community hub, JUMP, at its midtown location, is a centre where one can relax, schmooze and become involved in a variety of different opportunities. JUMP is an open and welcoming atmosphere for young professionals, between the ages of 22 and 34, to discover their Jewish identity through innovative and exciting opportunities. JUMP provides social, volunteer and educational programming as well as opportunities to connect with Israel and international communities, often for little or no cost. Since opening its doors, JUMP has been generating a positive buzz throughout the community and the media. Working in conjunction with a variety of partners throughout Toronto, JUMP’s list of members continues to grow. JUMP's mission is to foster growth as a community, encourage participation and strengthen the bond between the Jewish people through experience and knowledge.
