The most useless real estate company in Toronto. The staff is rude the maintenance is below standard rents are high and keep increasing every year. The heater does not work most tenants use electric heaters those have free hydro others have to pay hydro from their own pockets . Better find other realtors for if you are looking to rent an apartment..5 BROCKLEY IS USELESS..

The apartments come with ants and other pests. 1 year and 4 months and they did not figure out my buzzer yet. However they increased my rent. that tells you how serious they are. also took them 3 months to fix my closet. i have a cracked window.
The management is very poor. It is very difficult to communicate with the staff. Some of the staff hardly speak any English. The staff are untrained and often times have no idea what they are doing and very frequently provide wrong information. This usually results in having to spend a significant amount of time to get the simplest things done. I have missed several work days waiting for the staff and/or technicians to enter my unit to fix a problem, and in my experience, it usually requires several requests and visits by the staff/technicians to get anything fixed, mostly because the staff are poorly trained and unqualified for their job - it seems the management is not willing to invest in qualified staff and things are done in the poorest way possible.
We have been tenants of one of the Homestead buildings for over a year and a half, and we are not impressed with how they manage their customer service. It is exceedingly difficult to get ahold of anyone at the main office, and the superintendents regularly tell us they can't do anything until it gets approved by the main office. Some of the issues we have had: - Temperatures were below legal minimums all winter. - We have had problems with water quality: brown, cloudy, off-smelling water. Superintendents refused to have it tested. - They made outrageously expensive cosmetic changes to the building and passed off the costs to residents, many of whom are on fixed income. - Poor maintenance of outside spaces, with animal excrements staying near the entrances for weeks. - Inaccessible entrances with steps that make it difficult for strollers, luggage, and mobility devices to access elevators. The apartment is very nice, spacious, well lit, and in an ideal location. Unfortunately the landlords care more about profits than they care about resident satisfaction. Consider renting with another holding company; in my experience Oxford Properties offers stellar service at comparable prices.
Great staff and nice apartments.
