This was always a staple when I lived in the neighborhood. It still is a very solid place to go for a casual homely dinner. I will say I did notice the quality of the food drop just slightly from years prior which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. The chicken kabobs which I forgot to take a photo of is absolutely amazing and their signature dish

We like a lot eating out. Last night we found this superb restaurant which we didn’t know before. We spent a delightful evening there with fine food and a professional team and a distinguished cook. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we will surely visit again very soon. We highly recommend.
This was my second visit at the Green Eggplant and I was, for the second time, completely pleased by my experience here. The place was very busy throughout but we were able to get a nice seat, and the food arrived promptly, with our server having carefully observed our preferences in a friendly way. The food is another thing that is stupendous at the Green Eggplant, as each dish is carefully crafted and prepared with evident care (their house salad dressing for instance, though sadly remaining a secret, is something quite extraordinary!) The menu items are mostly comprised of Mediterranean cuisine but you will find your standard restaurant fare here too, and the variety is delightful. The price tags, for the most part, are certainly not the most humble, but this is the Beaches area and the quality of the food makes the investment seem worthy to me. This place is an absolute must try!
Amazing place for the entire family to have dinner. Something on the menu for everyone. Amazing portions. Servers are always friendly. The manager Ken always goes above and beyond to make sure you're well taken care of. Great patio for outdoor dining during COVID.
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious brunch at Green Eggplant restaurant on a covid 19 safe patio, today. I ordered an egg white,spinach and feta cheese omelet. It came with a salad, gluten free toast and because I couldn't eat the potato pancakes as they were not gluten free, they were able to substitute some fresh berries. The food was amazing. My husband's roasted trout salad was huge and delicious. We both felt very safe. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
