If you could, avoid their products, it breaks down and aswell they have terrible customers service, hard to reach someone to actually help or talk to you and most of the time they dont get fixed for more than a month

We are trying to cancel the service but they don't answer the phone and their website ticket system isn't working. But what can we expect from a company that couldn't even use Photoshop properly to make our gift cards look half decent. All around a bad experience.

I cannot believe in this day and age with so many options out there that this company does not have better customer service. The customer service is absolutely terrible, after you purchase the system they basically are done with you. We have had lots of little issues and some promises that we find out with talking to support cannot be done. Support does try and help you as much as they can but we were over promised and under delivered by our sales rep!! I have tried to talk with an Ontario sales manager or someone that is concerned with their customers but keep getting put in contact with our sales rep that really does not care; he has already made the sale, paid and moved on. From a small hardworking establishment to anyone looking at this system the price is cheap but they really are not much help after. If you are looking for any help or training be prepared to pay for every second, even for their own system issues. I am not a complainer and this is my first negative review that I have ever written but I am fed up with the LACK of service.

The worst customer service for a product that nearly never works correctly. As a manager of an establishment using givex, I would discourage anybody from purchasing this product. It is such an inconvenience from the perspective of someone working in retail, and its very likely that the customer you are selling it to won't even be able to redeem the value of the card.

AVOID GIVEX. They will rip you off and are completely unapologetic about it. They told me what I wanted to hear to close the sale, but when I received the cards, they did not match the proof I signed off on, and I found out they were not compatible with my POS system - which Givex very clearly and explicitly stated they would be in my very first phone call with them. Not only did they not accept any responsibility for misleading me, but none of the solutions they offered were VIABLE - or cheap. To fix their mistake, they wanted me to spend even more money to purchase a separate terminal just to accept their cards. After spending well over 1000 on their useless cards, the most they could muster was a measly 75 discount on a 500 payment terminal which I would have to buy from them to fix their mistake. Their customer service and treatment is the worst I've ever seen. They are unprofessional, incredibly petty, and will never consider offering even a partial refund to rectify an expensive issue they created for their customer. I even tried to meet them half way, but they are not at all open to reason. And if you have the misfortune of being stuck dealing with Francois or Alexander, be sure to audio record all your conversations with them and get anything they say to you in writing. That was my mistake. Otherwise, I would've been after them in Small Claims Court. My advice to anyone considering a gift card service provider, AVOID Givex at all costs. Terrible staff. Terrible Leadership. Terrible company. But don't just just take it from me. Read the other 1-star reviews about them. I wish I had before doing business with them. Lesson learned!
