Having been interested in entrepreneurship and the collaboration of science and technology, I have founded a biomedical aid device startup, FullBack, for patients who are suffering from back pain. The item currently has an international patent in order to help people correct their posture via haptic feedback. I have been dealing with back pain due to improper posture since I was in my early 20's and felt convicted to solve this problem of unproductiveness at the professional and personal level due to this annoying pain. My team consists of myself and two other biomedical engineers from Korea. With the help of mentors and accelerator programs at the University of Toronto, my startup team has been selected as one of the finalists in the Accelerator Weekend Entrepreneurship Competition and won 1st place at the Canada-Korea Technology Entrepreneurship Competition (CKTEC) in the capital city of Canada.
