Beautiful tower, inside & out.
'Yorkville Fire Hall', 1878**. It is the city's oldest active fire halls. The two-storey structure has a five-storey clock tower with three bays. Used to be the tallest structure in Yorkville, when I first arrived in Toronto. Look at it now! ------------------------ Fire Hall #10 (now #312), has a coat of arms from the old Yorkville Town Hall. It was restored in 1974. --------------- Certain places in can be photographed only in certain time. The sun is rare here, because of the tall buildings. The advantage of a local photographer being, that you can revisit in different times of day. ----------------------------- Photo was taken in February, 2012
Missed Opportunity! To the cute fire fighter sitting in the back seat (left side), that waved at me; I'm a hopeless romantic I am hoping this will get to you. I was walking down Yonge st (October 10th 9:30pm). Hope you figure out a way to contact me!
