My wife, Renee, and I met Alexandria after scouring the internet for a vendor to make our wedding cake. We were looking for an artist, not just someone who could decorate a confection. We had our meeting/tasting and to jump a few steps ahead, on our wedding day, our wedding coordinator's first words to us as we arrived at our venue were, \I HAVE to show you your cake\. Alexandria collaborated with my florist to make sure the colours and flowers of the cake matched the decor. We wanted her to have as much creative freedom as possible and, boy, were we happy we did. JUST LOOK AT THIS MASTERPIECE.
The cake was one thing I knew I wanted perfect because my partner and I decided to use it as one of the key events at our wedding. Working with Alexandria and team was effortless -- she was prompt with her response even though she was going through the biggest business expansion of her career. Other cake and pastries shops had a minimum -- not with Alexandria and Finespun cakes. The team started our with a grand design based on our direction, and we worked mutually to scale down some parts, and scale up some elements. \Make it yours!\ The tasting was even more fun -- we brought our friends to the tasting and made it small celebration. The final result was a stunning cake -- even the head chef at our wedding venue had to go out and admired the cake because the Maître D was raving about it. The cake was beautiful, and delicious. I had a dream cake, and with her talent and passion, Alexandria, the owner, brought it to life. Looking back at it, we were lucky to have found Alexandria, and we wanted to help out future couples by writing this review to make it easier for everyone to know: you cannot go wrong with your decision to go with Finespun Cakes.
