Great fix for if you're craving greasy but yummy Chinese food. I've referred this place to many friends and they all loved it too. Don't bother getting any drinks here though. The staff who work there are questionable which is kind of expected in Chinatown but they like to deduct their tips from your change on their own and give you back less change which might turn some people off. Personally I think the food is definitely outweighs the bad customer service, definitely worth a try at least.

From a place called Dumpling House, you wouldn't expect the noodles to be the showstopper. The fried dumplings were very good, and impressively latticed into a single serving, but I prefer the fried dumplings at Mother's.
This place deserves a higher rating! Opted to go here tonight for dumplings with a friend of mine and ordered the mutton steamed dumplings, dill and pork fried dumplings, chicken bamboo and mushroom pan fried dumplings and their wonton soup. The wontons were shrimp and pork and had a great flavour. I loved every kind of dumpling I ordered, but I think my favourite was the mutton. Not only were the dumplings made very fresh, they were thoughtful enough to include complimentary drinks for my friend and I. The customer service was lovely and very high quality food.
Doughy . Very doughy. It is very thick, and not rolled out enough which leaves a very gummy consistency. Dumplings were \steamed\ but this was definitely boiled, not steamed. There is no presentation as they are also not pleated properly. The only saving grace is that the fillings tasted good. I also ordered fried beef noodles. There was a miniscule amount of beef, and they have absolutely no flavor. Noodles are over cooked and are not chewy or bouncy like a noodle should be. I wanted to like this place but there are two cheaper options just around the corner on Dundas with consistent top quality dumplings.
Reliable, quick and tasty. It's not fancy, not much seating, but those line ups should tell you something. The depth of the menu and simplicity lends itself to repeat visits.
