I was on Desjardins Insurance website to get online quote. After spent a lengthy effort and time and answered all questions in details, I finally reached the last question. I was asked to give consent for checking my credit. I have no problem with that once I made decision to go ahead. However, because this is first step for quote only. I clicked \decline\. The web page turned to refuse giving a quote without explanation. They should put this question right at beginning of the whole questionnaires. Save everybody time.

This is actually a zero star review. My employer wanted to provide its employees with improved coverage and chose Desjardin for its attractive plan. Well, 5 calls where I've been on hold for 40 minutes or longer.
The only thing they can do is increasing the price of the insurance all the time. I just switched my car insurance from an old car to a new one and after just 3 months the price will increase..this is insane! Not serious at all.. I will never recommend to anyone! Instead of doing promotions to old clients they keep changing prices and everytime it goes higher and higher !
Call times are ridiculous. Waited 2 hours on hold just to have no one answer the phone. Don’t use this company for any reason whatsoever.
Am giving 1 star so that I can write here. Worst insurance company. Customer's payments should be on time but when its their turn for claims, they don't want to pay. My car is in body shop from 7 weeks and adjuster haven't made any decision yet. I recommend that never go for Desjardins for auto insurance.
