The staff here are very patient and friendly whether you have a question about a tea or are asking for their opinion about something. Once, I even asked if I was eligible for a free cup as a Frequent Steeper member, and even though I wasn't, she gave it to me anyway! That just shows how much Davids Tea,or at least this particular branch, really care about their customers.

I am so used to having great experiences in David's Tea stores so I was unpleasantly surprised by this one. The lady working there this afternoon was the only David's Tea employee I've ever met who hasn't been exceedingly helpful. Instead, she refused to allow me to return a product for in-store credit even with the original receipt and within the permitted time frame. She was rude and called me unethical. I was shocked by this treatment so I went to another location where the employees were absolutely lovely and instantly helped me with what I needed. I don't think I'll return to the Yonge/St Clair location again and I would recommend they provide general courtesy and customer service training for some of their employees.
I love David'sTea but especially this location! The manager Sarah is very sweet and extremely helpful! Every time I'm feeling down I pop by to try a new iced tea and it makes my day so much better! Amy is also great! All of the staff I've met are amazing️
Love the matcha latte and loose leaf teas, unfortunately they have been having problems at this location with counterfeit bills so when I went with my boyfriend to buy 2 hot teas to go and some loose leaf tea I was denied service because I had a 50 bill. The cashier (who I later found out is the floor supervisor) told the girl making our drink to cancel our order and said rudely "don't you have a debit card?". I do, but I work in the service industry and mostly just carry cash. There was no compensation provided and we felt kicked out the store so I went across the street and got my tea from Starbucks. I went today hoping the same girl wouldn't be there but she was and overheard me asking the other shop keeper about the situation with the bills. She came out from the back and apologized and said she hoped that she didn't make me feel bad but I still felt a really unfriendly vibe, especially from the other girl working because I tried to make friendly conversation with her and she sort of just ignored me. I will not be going back to this location, I guess the company doesn't have any standards for customer service, or perhaps these shopkeepers specifically are undertrained. It's too bad because I love the product but I will most definitely be taking my business elsewhere if I don't feel welcome. They made me feel like that terrible annoying customer that you just want to get rid of, and that's not me, I would just hope for a little better customer service especially after having been previously denied for having a 50 dollar bill. At the least the floor manager said she doesn't think it's me whose the counterfeit ...
Great selection of teas and accessories, super nice staff.
Very friendly, informative and helpful staff. Both me and my girlfriend enjoyed our stay. We explained, who turned out to be the manager, that it was our first time having David's Tea. He was gracious enough to walk us through the store and it's selection. He gave us complimentary teas since it was our first time. Based on our experience tonight, I would definitely come back to this location and make a purchase.
I always enjoy stopping in and grabbing a herbal tea from here. The staff is pleasant and unlike a Starbucks you can speak to staff about the different types of tea and they take the time to explain and educate you so you can make the best decision.
Overall it was a nice experience to go to this DavidsTEA as they have a wide selection of loose leaf teas, however I did feel that the representative was a little bit too pushy on the sales side. They didn't honor the frequent steeper free tea with every purchase. I was told to also up size my purchase a few dollars to get a free tin. I didn't expect the few dollars to be an additional 5 for the tin. While I could have clarified that was too much of an increase, I wish she told me how much more it would be to get a free tin. Usually I have a good experience at DavidsTEA, but this time it felt more like the shopping at Teavana. Not Great, but the product is fine.
