Excellent and very professional service. I actually am surprised to read all these bad reviews (many of them based on a clear lack of experience on how consulates work). Compared to the Spanish Consulate in Mexico City, the staff in Toronto is very close, understanding and willing to help. I needed help renewing my passport and they did follow my case and helped me out with everything I needed. Very good experience and very nice people.

They only take 12 ppl per day for visa application on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. They will ask everyone else to leave after that 12 ppl. Prepare to arrive before 5 a.m. to get yourself in. Especially if you don't live in Toronto. There were over 25 ppl waiting in line when I arrived around 8:30. I suggest you avoid this Consulate because of their unorganized schedule with their rude and unprofessional staffs.

Very surprised about the bad reviews here. Sure, they don't respond to phone calls but they make that very clear in the website and communication by email was fast and efficient. I had to do some legal paperwork, and considering how difficult that is under the current circumstances they kept me informed and I knew exactly what I had to do at any time. They were also very friendly, efficient and polite during the whole process. In my personal experience, there's nothing I can complain about.

I have had to deal with four different embassy's and the Spanish consulate of Toronto is by far the worst customer service. There is better customer service in mcdonalds. Carmen has not picked up the phone once in her easy hours of 10-13:00 in the past six weeks! one response to emails and their website does not translate properly to English.

I been trying to get a simple Identification number from Spain i lost. This place will not help with their lazy ways and excuses. Just do not want to do their job and even with proper information to help my case. Wasted of time and from Spain goverment
