For anything you may need, I would recommend to contact them via email, especially with this pandemic going on. In fact the consulate is closed to the public, you need to book an appointment to get whatever you need done. In this 2020 I needed two different documents, at the first, wasn't easy understand how to move, but when I got how to contact them, it turned out, I got what I needed. I would like to say thanks to them, for replying all my emails and being nice anytime I went to consulate in person.

A little terse but I got everything done I needed to get done and the communication was clear and consistent, even during this pandemic when you had to email them instead of calling. I actually preferred that. No more waiting on the phone line. The only thing is I wish that they would expand their list of approved lawyers who can draft a document for you because a lot of them are retired now and it was hard to find someone to help me.

The experience was really disappointing. I am Italian but they don't let me go in .And I feel betrayed from Italy, for me the embassy is my little place where I am Italian again. I think is not the coronavirus the problem is just the are lazy for really
