I just finished my classes this weekend and I haven't stopped talking about it since! Our instructor Michael had beyond abundant amount of coffee knowledge to offer.His passion for coffee and humble attitude is both fascinating and inspiring! The class was engaging, fun and a good balance of theory and practicality. Overall it was one of the best learning experiences I've ever had. Thank you for everything.

The course I took at Canadian Barista & Coffee Academy in Vancouver (BC) was a great experience. The class was very well organize. We start by knowing more about coffee beans and different typology. Then we start cupping. Cupping was great because it made me understand the difference and the quality of the coffee . Then the teacher explain us a lot fact about coffee and how to brew it. We also learn the best way to make latte art and how to steam milk properly. I will recommend the class to everyone who would like to understand much more about coffee beans, quality and brew process. The teacher was very professional and expert in coffee. In the end of the class he also stop with some of us to answer every question we have about this industry. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Thank you to the Canadian Barista & Coffee Academy for the most unreal weekend of learning and growing as coffee trailer owners and baristas. We cannot even begin to describe what we gained from attending your complete barista training last weekend. As small new coffee business owners, you exceeded everything that we had hoped to learn from our weekend with you. It was an intensive two days filled with relevant learning in a comfortable setting, making the learning experience valuable always. While maintaining the structure and expectations of what the course offers, Mike also tailored to our learning needs. We were always completely engaged in listening to the incredible amount of knowledge that Mike shared about coffee and the culture of the craft coffee business. The course offered the perfect balance of practical theory and hands-on learning. Mike was sure to answer every question with relevant detail and thoughtfulness We appreciate the experiences and tricks that Mike shared with us throughout the course, that he has learned and developed through his many years in the business. We also appreciated the care that the Toronto Campus took to keep us safe by ensuring social distancing, sanitizing, and following government protocols always. Registration for the course was easy and there was ongoing communication through email until our course date arrived. We were touched by the care and passion that Mike has for the small coffee industry and for those people like us who are just joining the community. A wealth of information and practical training.. Enjoyed the Barista Training very much, Michael is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor who knows more about the history and origin of coffee then you can imagine! Very warm, cordial and effective training. A wonderful human touch that makes training for a trade more of exciting and enjoyable rather than just going through a curriculum.
