Really doubt this will help since every review is essentially negative anyway but how can you hold people accountable for payments and refunds where you charge interest and will hurt people’s credit when you can’t answer your phone when people are trying to get assistance in paying YOU. I’ve been calling every day for about a week now I’ve called about 10 times a day- most of the time it says the queue is full and to call back later ( after you’ve already wasted 3 minutes with the slow key prompts) or if you get through it hangs up on you after an hour or two of waiting. Then you call back and of course the queue is full. I would love to meet someone who actually got through to the CRA because it seems thats more rare then winning a lottery. I know it’s not the reps faults that work there and understand it’s busy but then if you can’t help maybe you should at least do something like postpone interest accumulation until you get to the point where your centre doesn’t have to close queues. Otherwise right now we are stuck and can’t do anything if your queues are closed.

Spent 30 minutes on hold (super fast for CRA actually - lucky me!), then was transferred to another agent, for whom I'd been waiting for 2 hours on hold. A representative finally answered, told me they need to check something, put me on hold ( other 15 minutes of wait), and then they simply hang up on me. I would've given 2 stars, but I think no goodbye is rude, so only 1. Sorry. Like really - how can you just hang up on someone waiting for you for half a day? Issue's not resolved, 3 hours wasted, no will to repeat it again. Get more people dear CRA and train them well, call back or simply make ALL services available online.
Long wait times are very painful. Please increase the number of well-trained agents. And I see from very low ratings, many people are in the same idea.
can't review the service because it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to anyone. Spent over 2 hours of the phone waiting for an agent to then be disconnected. Called back and followed the prompts for identity theft and was told to call back later (their concern for my identity is very encouraging). There is no callback service (like those offered by hundreds of private businesses we don't pay taxes to). This is a joke.
Absolutely awful phone service. It sometimes has you waiting hours until it just automatically disconnects, why isn't there a call back option?? That would be way more convenient and wouldn't require you to sit on the phone for HOURS. Even Service Canada centers can't deal with CRA inquiries so you're stuck with this terrible phone service
Beyond ridiculous. On the phone for 3½ hours only to be transferred and wait another 2½ hours with no answer whatsoever.
I can't spend all day waiting to talk to someone meanwhile I could be subject to fraud. Hire more people to work ffs
