It’s been just over a year now since we brought home our sweet boy and we are still raving about the service we received at Toronto Animal Services (North). The staff was incredibly kind and thoughtful, doing everything in their power to help us see the dog we wanted. We could tell in every interaction, how much they genuinely cared about the animals in their care - one even shed a few years when we were taking our sweet boy home. Thank you staff of TAS for helping connect us with our beloved family member!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can see available animals there and take your chosen pet home in some cases on the same day. I adopted a female kitten in the end of 2019 and she's been such a delight ever since!

We adopted a little 9-10 week old kitten here that the shelter named Webster back at the start of May. I can’t remember the name of the lady who helped us, but she was wonderful to work with and very helpful. She is absolutely someone that cares about helping animals and helping them find homes. Our little kitty is now not so little, but adorable and a joy to have and we are so happy we were able to adopt him.

Adopted a very sweet, beautiful little tuxedo girl whom is 12 years old. Such a little love bug. Honestly we are so happy. Please, please don't overlook older, cats. They are more settled than kittens and are very happy to be your little companions. They can still entertain you and be the best company ever.

I went to this place many years back with my 8 years old daughter because there were 5 puppies for adoption. They lacked customer service skills and they were not aprochable. While filling up an apllication to adopt, I saw 3 different people that did not work at this place and want to take the puppies. It's funny that the staff over counter was very friendly to them. Right there, I knew I didn't have chance to adopt. My feeling was something was going on under the table. I finished the application and never heard back from them. I never went back to any shelter for adopting. It's a waste of time and disappointment. I bought 2 puppies privately from a home. One still with us. We rescued 4 kittens. I wonder about these shelters.
