Excellent place to grab lunch. I got the goat rice for lunch. It was really good. The owner is a really nice person and is more than happy to assist you in picking what you are in the mood for.

The jerk chicken is crazy good, and the roti is amazing, but it's the doubles and the cassava pone for me! I go by regularly after work and pick up two of each, pretending that I'm saving some for the next day. That never happens.

The *best* Trinidadian rotis and doubles in town. If you call and ask for no plastic bag then your roti or doubles will simply be wrapped in a small paper bag, making it one of the best low waste options I know of for takeaway food. If you don’t know what doubles are then you’re in for a treat of Caribbean comfort food - curried chick peas sandwiched in between fluffy fried dough. Also their homemade hot sauce is very flavourful and delicious but potent so start slow, and you can also buy it by the (glass) jar if you love it as I do!

Haven’t visited this place in years until today again! Happy to say the great quality and the food hasn’t changed at all! Lovely family and team they have over here. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the overall experience I had today and the price point for certain items are on the higher side than it needs to be for what it is. But the portions are always nice and I will say it’s worth it!

High prices. Nothing special to the taste of the oxtail dish, nothing, few pieces though expensive! Goat meat totally covering the rice in my container was a turn off. Presentation is key. I would have preferred it be served side by side. The green pepper mango anchar had turned, was frothy!
