Yummy food, got to sit outside in the bubble which was a great vibe and gave us a nice view of the lake. It was 6 outside but we were nice and warm inside our little bubble. Our waitress was also extremely friendly. Overall awesome experience

I had the opportunity to try their patio bubble VIP experience and it was fantastic. Everything from the ambience to the food was exquisite. The bubble kept us warm while also protecting us from the rain. It was a thunderstorm and we still didn't get wet. Their COVID steps were also so secure. I felt super comfortable being in a bubble with my bubble! As for the food I'd highly recommend the steak with fries and the mulled gold cocktail! I also really liked the desert! They tasted like the perfect cinnamon honey donut.
Eating at a patio beside the water is amazing. You get the breeze of the water and a shaded table. It's great. The brunch was delicious. We were all happy with our dishes, including our vegan friend. The only downside is that there's no reservations and when we got there there were lots of empty tables but still had to wait 40 min to wait for their wait list to be called. The good thing is that it was a beautiful day and you're beside sugar beach.
This is a FAB restaurant. I had a cheeseburger. There is absolutely nothing Against The Grain about this restaurant or its' clientele.
The bubble was a fun experience but chilly. It was -1 degree C on the day we visited and a coat was definitely required. There is a tiny electric heater inside that looks like a fireplace but it did not put out much heat and was more for ambiance. If you're going on a cold day be sure to dress warmly. Aside from the novelty of the bubble, the service was good and the food was just ok. Makes for a nice date spot.
A beautiful set up right beside the Lake Ontario steps from Sugar beach. Enjoyed their patio during the summer.Limited non alcoholic drinks menu and the food too is nothing much to write home about but 5 stars for the location
The sesame calamari, the chicken wings and the fish tacos are my favorites. The view is awesome. The ambience is great. I strongly recommend patio sitting its just good. Staff is good. Service is .
The view was great. The food was good. The manager Jarrad was very helpful and is well informed of the menus. He recommended a few different plates and had excellent recommendations for drink pairings. I recommend checking out Against The Grain.
