I first came here on recommendation of my friends, they claimed that acupuncture helped them with cat allergies. I was skeptical, but having pretty severe cat allergies, I decided to give it a try. After 6 sessions I saw significant improvements in my body's reaction to cats. I no longer get itchy skin, watery eyes or runny nose. It's not perfect yet, but it's day-and-night difference with how my body reacted before. If you're suffering from pet allergies, I highly recommend you speak to Michal at Acupuncture on Eglinton. It worked for me and two of my friends.

This acupuncturist is highly recommended. The facilities are clean, and the environment feels relaxing and calming to visit. Generally larger clinics provide a less personal experience and less detail. The acupuncturist takes an effort to understand your individual situation and tailor treatment at each session accordingly. She takes a sincere interest in your comfort, and well being since the acupuncture treatment (needles) itself can be intimidating to some. Furthermore she attends conferences and continuous training to learn new methods/treatments that can be used with her clients. She is also willing to spend necessary time to explain treatment, answer any questions you may have (unlike many others I have tried) and if she feels necessary may use other techniques during treatment other than acupuncture which was a pleasantly appreciated surprise. Often results that matter take time and patience, acupuncture treatment is no different.
