We had an overall wonderful stay. We rented an airstream which was beautifully rebuilt, designed and decorated. For a small space, there was plenty of room for our stuff and a great little area for making meals. A few touches could have been better, but they wouldn’t have changed whether I wanted to stay there. On the cold days, there was excessive condensation on the walls and windows to the point that it dripped small amounts from the ceiling. I am assuming there would be more information provided with the full check in but because we chose to self check in we had to figure out how the electrics, breakers and fans worked ourselves. This might be handy to have in an email for others who aren’t the most trailer savvy. An extra pillow or two would also be nice. Otherwise an awesome spot. Little touches like the soaps were lovely and being 100m to Mackenzie beach can’t be beat!

Really 1.5 stars. Staff was friendly and good location near the water but that’s about it in terms of positives. Overpriced. Overcrowded. Seriously Overcrowded. Lots of partiers. Campers opposite of us were playing music till 4am. No one patrolling the site to enforce quiet hours. more accurately described as “voluntary quiet hours”. Lots of college kids from Washington state, where Covid is spiking. Forest campsite” was a a spot butted up against the bushes in a dust and gravel parking lot, surrounded by trailers and other “camp sites”. Laundry room was closed for several days. When open, only 1 out of 3 machines were in working order. Bring cash, as front desk does not offer cash back on debit card transactions. Was told to go down the road to get coins for the laundry machine. The bbq restaurant onsite uses it to wash their dirty rags (see photo). Really??In times of COVID?? Expect to spend at least 4 per shower, as each 3 min token costs 2. Firewood for sale at 10/bundle. Which lasts about an hour. Saving grace is that it’s a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. Book elsewhere.

It does the job. Cons: Small cramped campsite spots which is not very private, a lot of trash and dog poop left all over the campsite which is gross. Pro’s: (however if you can live with that) You literally cannot beat waking up and falling to sleep with the sound of waves 20 meters from your tent. Also very impressed with the quantity, cleanliness and upkeep of the restroom and shower (3 dollars for 4 minutes I think) facilities were very good and just want you need after a days surf!

Just a warning that these cabin are not properly maintained. It says beach front but it’s not u need to go up stairs and not facing beach. I would avoid as plants of horrible reviews.

Had the opportunity to stay in the cabins right on the beach. What a view! If you catch Tofino on the right evening, it's the best in the world!

We stayed in the rv parking lot which was next to MacKenzie road. It was a dry week and the dust that wafted into the campground made this a place I would not want to stay in again. But otherwise the facilities were good, the beach is beautiful, the location is excellent but not for surfing. Ronnie's BBQ was one of the best meals of our stay in tofino.

Lower you expectations. We were in a cabin right on the beach. That was the only good part. Great location. But you pay for it. In terms of the cabin, I’ve had better managed in 3rd world budget travelling. From large brown stains on the curtains, to old broken bathroom counters, to cookware that is flaking it’s non stick coating right into your food. I mean, they could spend 30 a year in new pans. I’d rate it as the most expensive rental in my life and one of the worst maintained of any place I’ve stayed. Tofino is so expensive now and I guess this is what you can expect now. That all being said, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Not their fault.

My boyfriend and I only stayed here for 1 night (camping) but we loved it. It was busy but that's expected during the summer! It's a super short easy walk to a huge beautiful beach and the smokehouse bbq place does great food! Really nice area and friendly staff. The cleanest camping bathrooms I have ever seen! Will be back again in August! I wish it allowed smoking, but I understand why and you can always smoke on the beach :)
